About Protos Dive watch: The Protos Dive Watch is a homage to the Rolex Submariner “Big Crown” ref. 6538, which was first released in 1956. It is perhaps most famous for being the original James Bond watch, as worn by Sean Connery in the 1962 film “Dr. No”.
Protos watches are a re-interprtetaition of Rolex’s famous Submariner watch which was an iconic design in the mid 1950’s and still today tops the most wanted divers watch. New technology and materials allowed Protos to re-create an iconic watch for the 21st century dive watch enthusiast. These watches are not only for diving or water sports but well suited to be worn at social events and be admired.
